product to convince the customer that their product is the best and even the
actors use it
“Tuba” was The person who was advertising
for their product, and she is a Turkish actor has a lot of fans in
everywhere.

Positive emotion: she was on the beach in
sunny day and she was having fun and happy because she use this product and
her hair is not ruining because of the sun.

Logos
|
They use Evidence about the product and explain
what is contain that help to protect customer’s hair from any damage.

Play on words
|
They said
that Do not use oil to treat damaged hair because problems of today
do not need solutions of yesterday
|
Repetition
|
They repeat the same sentence in the
beginning of the advertisement and the end, to convince the customer that the
oil is not the best solution for hair damage.

4. What changes would you suggest to the ad to make it more
appealing to Emirati consumers?
If they chose an Emirati celebrity to do
their advertisement maybe that help to convenes the Emirati customer also if
they add some new product that help to protect black and long hair, that will
satisfy them since a lot of Emiratis customer have long and black hair
moreover they can do their advertisement like they are asking local people
about the product and they giving them their opinion that will help to
attract customers attention toward the product.

I
have learned that if we want a best
result for a survey ,we need to set up a plan before we distributed between
people, so the plan contain who we will ask, when we will do it , where we can
distributed and how we will distributed, these information will help us to know
specifically what we will do, which lead to get a best result, I believe that
the key of successful is to be an organized person, because that will help you
always to know what you need to do and what you already finished, also
organizing your work and set up a plan or schedule for your day it will help
you to get rid of tensions, and as we know being relax and comfortable will
lead to show your ability and improve it as well, so now I always advice my
sister and my friends to organized their work and set up a plan because that
will help them a lot .

Quiz:
A
lot of people love to work together because as they believe three brains
working together are better than one, I agreed with that too, because group
quizzes were a good experience for me, I learned how we can share our ideas and
work together to come up with good answers, but I still believe that sometime
you need to answer the quiz by yourself, because that help you to think better,
when you are in group quiz, everyone is talking and you need to listen to your
partner as well so that will Distract your thoughts , even if the other groups
are talking in a low voice,
also sometime you disagree with your partner which you need to start explaining
your answer and convince him , which
lead to losing time of the quiz, so its good to have both types of exams to have individual exams rather than focusing on one type.
Data Analysis & Collecting Data:
After
collecting the data from the survey we start to analyse them, that help me to
improve my skills in explaining the charts and understanding them, which make
it easy for me to do it again for other projects, also I learned using new word
in the explanation paragraphs, moreover I improve my skills in creating chart
in different designs which make my report look better, furthermore we create an
online survey through a website which make it easy for us to reach people, and
that help me a lot because I learned to create a survey in survey monkey website
which helped me in other projects as
well, since the projects required creating and analysing surveys.
What I have learned
“Critical thinking “when I read these words I actually
wonder what we will going to learn in this course, we are human and in the age
that we can think properly, what they mean by think critically, after we start
to study this course I start to understand what is the different between a
person who think and who are a critical thinker.
I learned that critical thinking means the
ability of a person to think logically and separate his emotions and be able to
understand each sides of the problem without focusing in one side, moreover who
has critical thinking skills he has the ability to understand the logic
connection between the ideas, also he can identify and evaluate the arguments and
solve the problems, furthermore to be a critical thinker we must follow some
steps.

Knowledge
It means that we must understand and be able
to identify what is being said: the topic, the issue, the thesis, and the main
points.
2.
Comprehension
It’s the second level of knowledge it means
that you have the ability of understanding the material that has been read,
seen or heard and putting it in your own word.
3.
Application
To
apply and use what you have read and hear to support your point of view and ideas
in the situation, because I believe that if you want to convince someone
support your speech with evidence and proofs.
4.
Analysis
It involves breaking what you read or hear
into its component parts in order to make it clear how the ideas are related
together.
5.
Composition
It’s
the ability to put the parts that we have analysed together to create something
original.
6.
Evaluation
After doing all these steps and understanding
what was said we can start to evaluate and take action toward the topic or the
case.
Finally being a critical thinker is not a hard thing
to be, but we need to improve our skills and try to increase our knowledge as
much we educate our self, our personality and the way of our thinking will
improve
